The vacation apartment Fischer A with a fantastic mountain view is beautifully furnished in country house style. Located in Oberammergau, it is an ideal starting point for vacations in the Bavarian Alps. The 120 m² apartment consists of a very well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a cozy dining area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a Swedish stove. On the south-facing balcony with a view of the Ammergau Alps, you can start an eventful vacation day with a cup of coffee or tea. Due to the central location of the vacation apartment, many facilities for daily needs and sights are within walking distance. Several bakeries, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance in 1-7 minutes (100-500 m). There is a cafe under the apartment that is open until 18:00. An organic grocery store is a 5-minute walk away (350 m), and several larger supermarkets are a 7-9-minute walk away (550-750 m). Oberammergau's famous Passion Theater is also just a few meters from the accommodation (a 1-minute walk). The train station can be reached after 500 meters (a 6-minute walk). Trains leave from here to Unterammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After a 35-minute drive (35 km), you can swim in the clear waters of Lake Kochelsee. In 40 minutes by car (45 km) you can reach the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, which is located directly at the Alpsee. The nearest ski resort can be conquered with the Wanklift (1.4 km away, 4 minutes by car).

Great interior, amazing view, parking by the house, ability to regulate the heating, nice terrace, very central location
It would be great to have ability to watch streaming services like Netflix/Disney/Sky on TV. Wifi was a bit flaky, which was not a problem since we were on holiday. But if one has to do some business calls, it can be a problem.

Die Ferienwohnung ist genau wie beschrieben. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Oberammergau. Durch die zentrale Lage sind die Wege zum Bäcker und Restaurants nicht weit gewesen.
