The well-furnished apartment “Auer” is situated in a quiet area outside of Überlingen and is only a short drive from the beach and the centre. The 90 m² apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a dining area, 3 bedrooms (one with a single bed) as well as one bathroom and an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine, fans, satellite television and a children’s bed. The apartment has a balcony, where you can start the day with coffee, and the shaded garden invites you to have breakfast or to spend the evenings with a glass of wine and tasty home-cooked dinners. The nearest supermarket and a pharmacy are a 5-minute drive (3.5 km) away, a bakery can be found after an 8-minute drive (5 km), and you can reach a restaurant within 2.8 km or a 7-minute drive away from the apartment. The closest beach, Strandbad West, where you can swim in the clear blue water and enjoy the fantastic panorama, is an 8-minute drive (4.7 km) away. The well-kept park with a deer enclosure, 4.2 km or a 6-minute drive away, has a shady picnic area and a pavilion on top of a lookout with a wonderful view of the town, the mountains and Lake Constance, while the charming centre of Überlingen, with lovely architecture, bustling promenades and a thermal bath, can be reached after a short walk from the park. From the ferry terminal in Meersburg, a 21-minute drive (18 km) away, you can cross the lake to Konstanz and visit the picturesque old town centre with centuries-old architecture and a famous cathedral. The Lake Constance region offers numerous great hiking and cycling routes through scenic landscapes and along the lakeshores. In winter, you can even go skiing a 30-minute drive (28 km) from Überlingen or across the nearby Austrian or Swiss borders.

Ein schöner und vor allem ruhiger Ort. Genau das hatten wir gesucht und gefunden.
Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Allerdings sind die Treppen steil und für alte Menschen nicht ungefährlich.
Vermieterin und die Nachbarschaft sind hilfsbereit und freundlich!
Einziger Nachteil war die irrtümliche Doppelbuchung,
die uns zwang, unseren einwöchigen Urlaub um zwei Tage zu verkürzen.

Was will man mehr? Sehr schöne Wohnung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Nette Vermieterin (Kontakt leider nur eingeschränkt über Telefon möglich wegen Krankheit, dafür aber herzlich). Jederzeit zu empfehlen.
